Does anyone else feel the weight of the universe at nighttime? I don’t know what it is.. maybe it’s the stillness of the dark, but everything feels so heavy.
I know typically all your worries are supposed to slip away, but mine seem to pile on. The recorder in my brain turns on and I replay all the events from the day.
Not that I’m complaining of course. I’m looking on the bright (oh look! a pun!) side and all this makes some interesting dreams. Last night I dreamt of a vampire. Not sure where he came from.. but like I said.. it’s nighttime where anything can happen!
You know what, rip me off once, shame on me. But twice? I’m coming after you and taking back what’s mine.

I’m sure you have goals, right? We all have some sort of goal or dream. What are you doing to reach it? Do you work on it everyday?
My list of goals keep getting longer and longer, but I realize that my goals and my dreams are just a destination. Kind of like “Yes Man”, that Jim Carrey movie? You’ve got to see it. For Zooey Deschanel alone, she’s totally worth it. But the movie shows what can happen if you open yourself to possibilities and opportunities. It’s like the universe just tilts its way to you… it’s hard to explain. But put it this way. You want to make a cake? You think you have all the ingredients for that recipe, but you don’t, You’re missing something. Suddenly you remember another cake recipe that doesn’t need the ingredient, and that ingredient you do have. Your cake turns out better than the other might have because a little ingenuity came with it.
Ingenue is a cool word.

I pay attention to my dreams and feel that they are prolific. If I have a dream about a green monster then usually I know envy consumes me or Shrek is around the next corner. That’s the excitement of dreams, you never know if it’s your sub-conscious trying to understand something, convey a message to you, or if you’re seeing into the future.
I had a dream the other night about a game set inside of a courtyard. A bunch of hipsters were playing like they were statues. And then I had to rescue all of them, take them into a bunker, and then there was an atomic bomb. It was all very cataclysmic and terribly exciting. I have a little screenwriter in my head and she writes awesome action movies!
