The Chipmunk Adventure – A Real Animated Movie
I love Mickey Mouse more than any woman I have ever known.
– Walt Disney
Disney movies are great and all, but really they follow the same formula. Main character loses parent, overcomes obstacle to become some sort of leader, fall in love with another leader’s son/daughter, happily ever after, The End. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about not reinventing the wheel, but the parental loss is just too dramatic and I don’t want to expose that to my little one all the time. So we change up our movies or TV shows.
The Chipmunk Adventure. Now that’s a movie! You have the Chipmunks, the Chipettes, awesome scenery, bright colours, vivid characters, great musical numbers, and just fun to watch. My 4yr old absolutely loves it and watches it daily. And when I mean daily, I mean 4 times a day.
That’s not including all the episodes that we watch of The Smurfs, David the Gnome, and The Adventures of the Little Koala. Yea, it’s a throw-back to my own childhood, but mine was pretty memorable and content and I want hers to be as well.

Thanks for posting, I’ll definitely be subscribing to your blog.
